The 41 Polaris®competencies (version 4.0) are defined by performance indicators/behaviors and then mapped on a four level continuum (matching a leadership pipeline with strategic leaders, functional managers, first line supervisors, and individual contributors), with a fifth contrasting level “inadequate” showing behaviors/performance indicators that fall short of minimum expected competence.
The product also comes with a tool kit: hire-train continuum, OSI job map, performance management handout, leadership pipeline and a graphic competency representation.
